We caught the bad cubnet (192.169) earlier. The problem persists. In fact, when I do a nodeset {NODE} install, it appends the bad subnet information to the existing /etc/dhcpd.conf.

ifconfig on the management node:

Can I see the output of ifconfig on that system?

[xcat-user] makedhcp creates almost replica subnets

When running makedhcp -n, I see the following message:
Warning: No dynamic range specified for 192.168.18.0, unknown systems on this network will not receive an address

In my networks table, I have the following:

"management","172.16.0.0","255.255.0.0","eth0","172.16.1.1","172.16.1.1","172.16.1.1","172.16.1.1","172.16.1.1",,,,,
"cluster","192.168.0.0","255.255.0.0","vlan2","192.168.18.1","192.168.18.1","192.168.18.1","192.168.18.1","192.168.18.1",,"192.168.18.10-192.169.28.254",,,

Notice the dynamic range for the 192.168..0.0 network. This is our internal cluster network over which installations are carried out. The 172.16.0.0 is for management modules, switches and storage controllers. ".1" on both networks is the xcat manager.

My site tabe shows the following:
"xcatdport","3001",,
"xcatiport","3002",,
"tftpdir","/tftpboot",,
"master","192.168.18.1",,
"domain","cluster.net",,
"installdir","/install",,
"timezone","US/Eastern",,
"nameservers","192.168.18.1,172.16.1.1",,
"dhcpinterfaces","coil-blue|vlan2;nsd|vlan2;compute|vlan2;x3950|vlan2;scf|vlan2",,
"ntpservers","192.168.18.1",,
"forwarders","146.165.8.3,146.165.1.4",,
"rsh","/usr/bin/ssh",,
"rcp","/usr/bin/scp",,

On the manager, 192.168.18.1 is on interface "vlan2".

After running makedhcpd -n, /etc/dhcpd.conf shows the following:

omapi-key xcat_key;
shared-network vlan2 {

 } # 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0 subnet_end

The first subnet shouldn't bee there, and I'm trying to track down what's creating it. The second subnet looks fine.
