Hi Torsten,

I just checked the /etc/hosts file:

==================================================
more /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1      	localhost.localdomain localhost
::1             	localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
10.2.4.200     mnode.craycx1.ballard.priv mnode
10.1.1.1       	mnode-eth0.cluster.priv mnode-eth0
=================================================

This seems to be ok. The DNS us working as well, as I can resolve any
dns name in my network.

	Thanks,
	Andreas

Please check if you have

127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

in your /etc/hosts file
