Yes you can modify your post scripts to unload a specific module after
installing or you can block specific ports on your SAN switch during the
Installation to speed time
If you go through the post scripts way just create a small script to edit
your */etc/modprobe.conf* ( kernel v2.6.xx queries */etc/modules.conf* )
file and turn of auto loading using following syntax:
*alias driver-name off*
