Hello, 

I am going to write a 'hardware management' plugin for controlling
VirtualBox machines (see http://virtualbox.org/). 
So far I just know that I have to write an xCAT plugin analogously to the
blade plugin, for example. 
I took a look at the ....lib/perl/xCAT_plugin/blade.pm file already and I am
now wondering if I need to figure out the interface for plugins by that
example or if there is any documentation or help.
Right now my guess is that functions like "handled_commands" will be called
from outside and that they realise the interface. 

I am also planning to introduce a new management method, so that one can use
"nodehm.mgt=vbox" instead of "blade" or "ipmi". 

Can anybody give me a few hints or the functions that are required. 
Also it would be good to know, if I am on the right path or if there is a
lot more to consider. 

I hope I'll get more information this way....
